Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026 · Applies to: remotria.com (the “Site”)
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones the Site uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It works together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help websites work correctly, remember preferences, and give owners a general picture of how visitors use their pages. Related technologies include local storage and similar browser mechanisms. Cookies can be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by another domain, such as an embedded service provider).
2. Cookies we use
We keep our use of cookies intentionally small. The Site currently uses the following categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies. A small number of first-party cookies that make basic functions work — for example, remembering your consent choice and supporting site security. These cannot be disabled through the Site because it would not function properly without them. They do not identify you personally.
- Preference cookies. First-party cookies that remember choices you make on the Site, such as open or closed sections. These are set only after you interact with the relevant feature.
- Analytics cookies. Aggregated, privacy-friendly usage data (such as pages visited and approximate region) that helps us understand which content is useful to visitors. We keep analytics data non-identifying and do not combine it with personal information you give us through forms.
- Third-party cookies. The Site does not currently embed advertising networks or social tracking pixels, and we do not use cookies for advertising profiling. If we ever add an embedded service that sets its own cookies (for example, a video player or scheduling tool), we will update this policy before doing so.
3. Why we use cookies
In plain terms: to keep the Site working, to remember your choices, and to understand in aggregate which pages are most helpful so we can improve our content. We do not sell data gathered through cookies, and we do not use them to build profiles about you for marketing to other sites.
4. How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies per site and block third-party cookies entirely. The exact steps differ by browser, so we recommend the help section of your browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all publish step-by-step guides. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the Site may not behave as expected — for example, your consent choice may not be remembered.
Where consent is required by law for non-essential cookies, we ask for your choice before setting them, and you may change your mind at any time by clearing cookies and revisiting the Site. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements because they are essential to the service you request.
5. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices or technology change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. If we begin using a new category of cookies, we will update this page before doing so.
