Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 8, 2026 · Remotria Inc., Toronto, Ontario
Remotria is committed to accessibility. As an Ontario-based company, we aim to meet the spirit and requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across remotria.com.
1. Our commitment
We believe professional services should be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. That commitment shapes both our website and the way we communicate with clients. We design with semantic HTML, clear structure, keyboard operability, readable contrast, and text alternatives for meaningful images — and we test as part of our publishing process.
2. Features of the Site
- Keyboard navigation. All links, menus, and form fields can be operated with the keyboard alone, and a visible “skip to content” link appears at the top of every page.
- Screen-reader support. Pages use semantic landmarks, descriptive link text, labeled form fields, and appropriate ARIA attributes. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Contrast and readability. Text sizes are generous, line lengths are controlled, and the color palette keeps strong contrast. We never rely on color alone to convey meaning — status tags carry text labels too.
- Images. Every meaningful image includes descriptive alternative text.
- Responsive layout. The Site works at common zoom levels and on small screens without losing content or function.
- Reduced motion. Animation is minimal and purely decorative, and we respect reduced-motion preferences where browsers expose them.
3. Accessible communication
Accessibility extends beyond the website to how we communicate with clients and the public:
- We provide information in plain language and avoid unnecessary jargon in client documents.
- Upon request, we provide documents in accessible formats, including large print or accessible electronic formats.
- Our support team welcomes questions by phone, email, or through the contact form — whichever works best for you.
- We ask clients if they have accessibility needs when arranging meetings or site visits, and we accommodate them.
4. Known limitations
We continuously improve the Site. Some older third-party services we reference may have their own accessibility limitations, which are outside our control; we note them to clients when relevant and provide alternatives where we can. If a page or document is difficult for you to use, please tell us — we treat that as a priority, not an afterthought.
5. Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Site and our communications. Please email [email protected], call +1 (416) 555-0186, or write to Remotria Inc., Suite 640, 181 King St W, Toronto, ON M5V 1K7, Canada. Include the page or document you were using and the issue you experienced. We acknowledge every message within two business days and respond with a plan or a fix as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario.
6. Continuous improvement
Accessibility is reviewed regularly by our team, and this statement is updated whenever our practices change materially. We are committed to making Remotria a company that is easy to reach, easy to read, and easy to work with — for everyone.
